Dr. Kurt Bales Obituary
January 13, 2021
It is with a sad and heavy heart that we write that Dr. Kurt Bales has passed away. He fought a strong and valiant battle against brain cancer, but ultimately lost. He is now back in the arms of a loving God that has been carrying him and his family through the last 19 months.
Dr. Kurt has been a part of New Hope Veterinary Clinic for three decades. Born and raised in Indiana, he graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. He and his wife Vicki ultimately found their way to the German Valley area to stay and raise their four children. He has been a strong fighter through all his years. Beyond his ability to care for all critters, we will miss terribly his dry sense of humor, as well as his ability to fix all our computer issues. His steadfast leadership has been a blessing to all of us.
We want to thank you for all your concern through these many months, your many well wishes, your words of encouragement, and your countless prayers. They have meant so much to his family and to the whole family of New Hope. We are comforted knowing he is now in a place with no more suffering in Our Father’s house.
Sincerely,
Dr. Bob Ebbesmeyer
Dr. Susan Myers
Dr. Ann Johnson
Dr. Elizabeth Brehm
